We were delighted to welcome over 90 people to our  June IMA Europe meeting held at PayExpo 2014. We had a great line-up of speakers and it was a great event. Brian Dunne, IMA Europe President, as ever did a wonderful job chairing the event.

Andrew Johnson Director General of the UK Gift Card & Voucher Association did a great update on ‘Mapping the commercial steps to migrate to electronic payments and incentives’ and to give an international perspective Paul Kelly, International Director. SVM talked on  ‘Gift cards, the International perspective from the global leaders’ Eric Benz, VP Business Development , GoCoin really interested everyone in their tools to manage new currencies talking on ‘Digital currency, bit coins and the like in consumer and incentive markets’. 
New to our group was Nadir Ebrahim – Director- Marketplace and global solutions at Achievers, and he gave a really good overview on latest recognition innovations ‘Beyond social recognition – future trends in employee engagement in the US for 2015 and beyond’.
There was a really exciting launch for Motivate Europe 2015 – Wendy Carter and Lucy Johnston and there was a lot of interest with many booking stand space.
Then Andrew Wilmot from Maroon Elephant launched the new IMA Europe website and there was very positive feedback. Delegates review the site on their iPhones & iPads. Steve Ramos and Harriet Young of Maroon Elephant did the design and build of the site which was sponsored by Corporate Rewards, One4All, SVM Europe and Maroon Elephant. Council members Andrew Wilmot, Wendy Carter and Sean Wilkinson steered the project.
At lunchtime we had our first CTO lunch which was oversubscribed with 20 people, and there was a lively discussion about ‘Recognition Platforms – Buy or Buy?’. At the end of the meeting everyone felt that the CTO events should be repeated as it was found very valuable. The lunch was very kindly sponsored by new IMA members P92 IT Solutions based ion London and Budapest.
After the event, most members stayed on for drinks sponsored by SVM and some even stayed for food sponsored by One4All.
