1-munichDuring October the International Gift Card and Couponing Summit was held for the 7th time, followed by an IMA Europe Members Meeting. Many experts from the voucher and incentive industry gathered for two days at the four-star Hotel & Conference Center RAMADA in Munich. BONAGO Incentive Marketing Group GmbH was also present as a long-term partner and exhibitor. Managing director Mark Gregg, and Vice President of the Incentive Marketing Association Europe (IMA), took on the role of the producer and presenter of the Summit once again.

The theme of this year’s event “Attraction – Animation – Action: Which incentives activate the customers for purchase?” was well received by previous and first-time visitors. The numerous experts presented examples and practical applications from over 20 exciting lectures. A pitch of innovative suppliers with a high-calibre jury took place this year also. This consisted of voucher experts from renowned companies such as Palmers Textil, Dirk Rossmann and hagebaumarkt. Previously selected companies presented their solutions about the topic “Innovative Couponing and Loyalty Solutions“. The winner of the pitch was go4seven GmbH with their innovative app “surpriseme”.

2-munichAs in every year, the Summit was also internationally oriented and welcomed experts from all over the world. Mark Gregg led the event together with Jürgen Scharrer, Chief Editor of HORIZONT. Visitors found many practical lectures very positive, such as Apple, Miles & More, the ADAC or KONSUM Dresden.

In addition to trends and innovations on the voucher and incentive market, the focus was on networking and the exchange with industry colleagues. “I am very delighted that the event has become one of the leading events in the voucher and incentive sector in the recent years and attracts more and more participants, also from the international field. In addition to exciting lectures about future trends, the personal and interactive exchange is very important for me. We are looking forward to be a partner again next year.” said Mark Gregg, Managing Director of BONAGO.

At the end of the Summit was the annual IMA Europe Members Meeting, where the participants were able to attend for free. As part of the international meetings, PowerShell, Benify and the Boost Group presented exciting insights into the trends of the industry. IMA Europe Board member Jonathan Grey and Vice President Mark Gregg  led the program and ended the second day of the event.
