SVM Global Wins Inspiring Business Awards 2017
SVM Global are celebrating success after winning at this year’s Inspiring business awards hosted by Datel.
SVM Global, ranking as one of South Yorkshires top 100 growing companies from a survey compiled by Shorts, are the world’s leading re-seller of Gift Cards and Digital eCodes into the B2B and corporate gifting market.
The Inspiring Business awards were hosted by Datel – the country’s largest Sage partner and specialist provider of Sage ERP business management software and CRM solutions. This year’s event coincided with the bi-annual Connect: conference, exhibition and networking event held by Datel for Sage users.
SVM Global were announced as the winners of ‘expanding the world of sage’ The award was presented to SVM Global for utilising technology from Datel’s Fusion range. SVM Global selected a suite of third-party solutions to improve a specific area of their business – fulfilment and despatch processes.
This award came after SVM Global made a significant change in how they work. They created a system named ‘Pathway’ that has allowed them to cope with the rapid growth in the company. Pathway has allowed SVMs fulfilment centre to manage the increase in orders coming through the system and eliminating many manual processes during the processing and fulfilment of orders. The system has already delivered a 400% increase in productivity of the fulfilment process enabling the team to manage the rise in demand whilst driving continual improvement, accuracey and quality.
SVM Global’s Technology Director Chris Mays said: ‘Our new system has made a huge impact on the company already and are excited to be rolling out phase 2 of the project in the coming months.
